To Edit Grub 2 Boot Menu Using gedit, ...

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.

- run terminal
- as a user, run

sudo gedit /boot/grub/grub.cfg

- enter the root password
- then we can edit the boot menu


note: use sharp (#) to omit the line.
